Enemies
As the starting region of Embervale, the Springlands is populated by all the major enemy factions of Enshrouded. The area primarily features Fell, Scavengers, and wild creatures, but also serves as an introduction to the Hollow and the Vukah.
The first and most notable enemies in the Springlands are the Fell, a group of humans and wildlife corrupted by the Shroud. They are first encountered in the caves after exiting the Cinder Vault, and will thereafter be found in all areas within the Shroud. They are the game's primary antagonists and the main source of Shroud Spores and Torn Cloth .
Scavengers are human survivors corrupted by prolonged use of the Elixir. They are likely first encountered in the area immediately north of Braelyn Bridge. They can frequently be found in ruined towns above the Shroud, such as Rookmore and Wescott, and are the primary source of Metal Scraps .
Wildlife found in the Springlands are typical woodland creatures of suitable difficulty for new players. Two tameable critters - the Hophare and the Common Goat - inhabit the Springland's forests and fields. Wolves are the most common hostile creatures and are frequently found roaming in packs. Other hostile animals can be encountered at specific points of interest, including Rats (ruins), Spiders (crypts), and Bats (caves and cemeteries).
Of the two rarer enemy factions, the Vukah are an ancient civilization of beastmen that represent the last remnants of nature above the Shroud. They are only found at Fort Kelvin in the Springlands proper but also maintain a presence around Vukah Ceremony Hill in the Low Meadows. They are a source of Animal Fur and Resin .
Finally, the Hollow are undead humans and creatures cursed by The Flame. They are rare outside of certain cemeteries and catacombs such as the Necropolis, but serve as the main enemies of the Springlands Hollow Halls. They are an excellent source of Bones and Salt .

Fishing
Fish catch rates and available species depend on the specific fishing location within this biome rather than the bait used. Non-fish loot (trash and treasures) is determined by the equipped bait.
