Record an animal
Open the Safari Camera from the radial menu. Put the animal near the centre of the frame, keep the view unobstructed and adjust your distance until the subject is valid. A successful first photo advances the compendium and can earn Pebbles. A second photo lets you choose which image to keep.
The reference reports a detection limit of 100 metres, but that is not a guarantee of a valid shot at every distance. Check the species' area, habitat, weather and time window before searching.
Compose a scenic photo
Photo Mode opens from the pause menu or a scenic viewpoint. Camera settings cover focus and exposure; Effects change the presentation of the scene.
