Your first drive
Begin with the short solo tutorial, even if you plan to join friends. Learn the low-range switch and winch before taking a steep shortcut. Use low range for rough climbs and return to high range when the surface allows a faster drive.
- Reach a nearby cabin to repair, refill equipped tools, reveal local points of interest and establish a fast-travel destination.
- Visit the Mechanic to choose an owned vehicle and equip tools before leaving the main route.
- Pick a challenge trail by its reward. Reaching the finish can add a new vehicle to your garage.
- Open the radial menu for the Safari Camera. A clear wildlife photo can advance the compendium and earn a first-photo reward.
When the route goes wrong
Try a suitable winch anchor or recovery tool. If you cannot recover the vehicle, use an already discovered cabin on the map. Plan around these known return points while learning an unfamiliar area.
