Reach The Plains

Embervale has fallen, consumed by the "Shroud".

Bring back the light and reclaim the land by establishing a Flame Altar in the wilds!

A promising site to establish a Flame Altar is marked on your map. Reach the location and proceed.

2

Build A Flame Altar

-

The Flame Altar will mark the spot for your base. In your base, you will be able to craft and build shelter. Craft the Flame Altar and place it to establish your base.

You don't have to place your Altar in the plains. You can choose any above Shroud area to establish your Base.

3

Talk To The Flame

-

The Flame Altar is built, but the land is still strange and unfamiliar. Speak to the Flame in your new base to learn how to proceed.

Walkthrough

-Travel left to the cave. Pick up the Torch to help you travel. Travel left and through another cave entry to find Explosive Powder Balls. Pick them up and blow up the rubble to find the Hunter's Ring and the lore note Ode To Pikemead.

-Turn around and travel left, down the stairs, and through the cave. If needed, kill the Fell Critter and Fell Footsoldier. Continue traveling and you will reach a Return Beacon. This will be your save point until placing the Flame Altar. Continue traveling to the exclamation point. You may travel through Longkeep but not necessarily required. When traveling, you will find a pink flame. Head to that.

-When you read that point, build a Flame Altar anywhere.
