Watering Can
The Watering Can allows you to soak up and pour out water inside and outside of your build areas. It can soak up water from free-standing water pools or from Water Wells or Improved Water Wells. While its description implies a more central role in farming, it is not needed or useful for growing any Seedlings that do not require water cover, such as Rice Seedlings and Algae Seedlings.
A useful item for watering thirsty flowers and plants.

Overview
The Watering Can also allows you to view detailed information about any planted seedling and artificially limit its growth. When approaching a seedling with the Watering Can in hand, the game will display the current growth stage, the soil and water level the seedling is planted in, and the soils and water level that the seedling prefers, and it will let you set the maximum growth stage the seedling will grow to. This is particularly useful for placing decorative plants, where a medium or smaller growth stage may be desired for the intended placement.
