Blacksmith

Oswald Anders is the first survivor and Craftsperson that you rescue from an Ancient Vault. He is rescued from the the Ancient Vault - Blacksmith, not far from where you emerge from the Cinder Vault, during the quest Find The Sleeping Survivor. After his rescue, he will direct you to find other survivors.

The Blacksmith Oswald Anders crafts and upgrades armors and weapons.

Overview

Oswald crafts a variety of Armor, Weapons and Shields for melee-centric characters. He also crafts better Axes, Pickaxes and Rakes to help you obtain resources more efficiently, and a variety of Decorations. His workstations include the Charcoal Kiln, Forge, Smelter and Blast Furnace.

Oswald's quests seek to track down crafting equipment like a Crucible, Smithing Tools and a Bellows to craft new workstations and unlock new recipes. He asks you to find his daughter Rochelle Anders to act as a Blacksmith Assistant.
