Shroud Depthdweller

Overview

They are large, jellyfish-like creatures that drift through the upper reaches of the Shroud. Depthdwellers provide aerial support for their fellow Fell with ranged projectiles and deal heavy damage with their sting to those who get too close.

Attacks

Explosive Offspring - Upon detecting a player nearby, the Depthdweller will produce a projectile similar in appearance to a small Depthdweller from the opening at the top of its bell. This spawn will immediately target the player and begin pursuing them. On contact, it will explode dealing heavy Shock damage.

Shroud-Charged Tentacles - The tentacles below a Depthdweller effectively act as Deadly Shroud. Coming into contact with them will cause the player's Shroud timer to rapidly decrease.

Tips

The Dweller's projectiles can be destroyed using ranged or magic attacks, or they can be parried back at the depthdweller if the player blocks just before impact.

Players are generally discouraged from engaging with Dwellers using melee, as they are effectively impossible to fight up close.
