Chests

Loot Chests

Chests are containers found throughout the world of Enshrouded that hold valuable loot, including weapons, armor, crafting materials, and consumables. Different types of chests offer varying levels of rewards, with rarer chests typically located in more dangerous or hard-to-reach areas.

Chest Types

• Wooden Chests – Basic chests often found in early-game zones and common areas. Contain low-tier materials and equipment.

• Silver Chests – Mid-tier chests with a chance to contain uncommon or rare equipment. Frequently found in dungeons, ruins, and shroud-covered areas.

• Gold Chests – High-tier chests containing rare or legendary loot. Often hidden in guarded or hard-to-access locations.

• Ornate Chests – The rarest chest type, typically found deep within high-level zones such as the Revelwoods, Nomad Highlands, and Kindlewastes. These are a primary source of Legendary weapons like the Noble Sword.

Loot Mechanics

Loot from chests is semi-randomized based on the player's level and the zone difficulty. Higher-tier chests have a greater chance of spawning weapons with rare attributes and high durability. Certain legendary items may only be found in specific chest types or regions.

Respawn & Rarity

• Most chests respawn after a set in-game time or when the area reloads.

• Some ornate or story-related chests are one-time-only or have long cooldowns.

Tips

• Use the Grappling Hook or glider to reach elevated or hidden chest locations.

• Elite enemies often guard gold and ornate chests.

• Completing events or dungeon puzzles may unlock sealed chests nearby.
